Submissions
Forum for World Literature Studies appears quarterly and publishes original research articles, review essays, and book reviews. The journal accepts submissions in English and Chinese.
Manuscripts are normally 5,000–8,000 words and should follow MLA style. All manuscripts must be accompanied by a cover letter that provides the following details:
- The author’s full mailing address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Professional or academic affiliation
In addition, the cover letter must affirm that the manuscript:
- Contains original content
- Has not been previously published
- Is not currently under review by any other publication

All accepted manuscripts become the exclusive property of Forum for World Literature Studies. Upon acceptance, authors are required to transfer all copyrights and associated intellectual property rights to the journal. This transfer ensures that the journal retains full rights to reproduce, distribute, and archive the work in any medium now known or developed in the future.
